Summary

ReachX is hiring for an Interim Auditor to support our clients finance team for initially 2 months. This role offers flexible and remote work options.  

We are looking for an Interim Auditor with at least 12 years’ experience to support our finance team over the coming two months. The role includes, but is not limited to the following: 

  

• Assist on the preparation of a data room for an external financial and tax audit of the parent and its subsidiaries 

• Review, amend and finalize historical management accounts, so that they can be uploaded to a data room 

• Engage with the CFO, the finance team, and the broader operational team to ensure that all other historic financial information is coherent and robust 

• Undertake variance analysis between budgets, forecasts and actuals and assist in querying management on the key movements 

• Work with the CFO to manage third party deliverables, both financial and tax related, including ensuring that said deliverables are in line with expectations 

• Work with senior management in preparing narratives on internal accounting principles and policies and description of business model and pricing policies 

• Compile information in the format required by the external auditors and assist in presenting such information as necessary and responding to Q&A 

• Assist in putting through adjustments to FY22 YTD accounts or trouble shoot on specific issues, as they arise 

• Assist with ongoing restructuring processes in several subsidiaries and liaise with local external accountants and legal counsel, as appropriate. 

• Ad hoc duties as requested by the CFO. 

  

  

Key Qualifications: 

The Interim Auditor should be a self-starter and highly independent, with the ability to self-direct while meeting tight deadlines. Minimum qualifications and personal skills sought include: 

  

• 12-15 years audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 audit practice, and with some experience in the transaction services space – essential 

• Diploma or degree in related subject - essential  

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - essential 

• Solid knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets - essential 

• Experience in Xero - preferred 

• Ability to hit the ground running  

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to strict deadlines. 

• High attention to detail and level of accuracy.  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Comfortable with liaising with external contacts in a professional manner. 

• A team player with strong personal values, showing integrity and proactive work approach. 

• Willingness to work long hours to get the job done. 

• Fluent in both written and spoken English (required). 

• Proficiency in both written and spoken French (preferred). 

• Command of other languages (German, Chinese) a distinct advantage. 

• Comfortable with remote working. 

  

4. Location 

Individual should be either EU or UK based and work on a remote basis.
